The Evolution House
Roots to Rise:
the Remembering
Ayahuasca Retreat

A 10-day Ayahuasca immersion for those ready to remember who they are beneath the noise. Held in the heart of the Costa Rican Caribbean Coast.

The Remembering

This is not a vacation. It is a return. Over ten days we will sit with the medicine, integrate through body and breath, and remember the parts of ourselves we have forgotten. You will be held, nourished, and challenged — surrounded by jungle, ocean, and a small circle of fellow travelers.

The schedule is intentionally spacious. Some practices are optional, and your facilitator will check in with you before each one. Times may shift once we are on the ground, but the container remains steady.

Retreat Owner & Host

Sheryn Turk

Sheryn is the heart behind Evolution House and the visionary creator of Roots to Rise. Her path into this work was born from lived experience — she has walked through addiction, trauma, grief, and the long road of learning to transmute pain into purpose.

Through sound healing, Reiki Energy Healing, breathwork, and NeuroTransformation Therapy, she holds space for others to do the same. Ayahuasca and plant medicine played a profound role in her own transformation, and she is deeply passionate about creating retreats where others can feel safe, supported, and empowered to remember who they truly are.

Every retreat she hosts is an invitation to heal, connect, and rise — surrounded by jungle, ceremony, and community.

Ayahuasquero Oscar Martinez (Sanken Bea) — Shaman

Shaman

Ayahuasquero Oscar Martinez (Sanken Bea)

Named by the Amazon Tribe, Oscar has spent an extensive amount of time in Peru with the Shipibo Conibo Tribe learning with his teachers in the Amazon — both plants and people — about the sacred traditions of serving Ayahuasca.

He has been through many intensive initiations and dietas over the last ten years and has safely served Ayahuasca, Bufo alvarius, Kambo, and other ancestral medicines to over 1500 people internationally. His dedication to his mission and prayer for the healing of humanity by using these medicines to raise the consciousness of the collective are strong and felt very deeply in his ceremonies.

The Ayahuasca that Oscar serves is prepared and prayed over by the family he knows personally. It is very clean and only contains two ingredients — the ayahuasca vine and chacruna — and is always fresh from the Amazon jungle of Peru and of the highest quality. The family who makes this medicine has intentions to reach the people for healing and to help them find their true Selves, and the family puts this prayer into the medicine while they cook it over four days and five nights.

Javi & Franz — Firespace Facilitators

Firespace Facilitators

Javi & Franz

Javi and Franz are the creators of Firespace, a fire dance and flow arts community rooted in Puerto Viejo. For them, fire is not a performance — it is a sacred element, a teacher, and a healing art. Through intentional movement, breath, and rhythm, they guide others into relationship with flame as a mirror for transformation, presence, and inner alchemy.

Their workshops invite participants to meet the fire with reverence: to move with it, to be shaped by it, and to discover the courage that lives on the other side of fear. Whether dancing with poi, fans, or staffs, Javi and Franz hold space for both beginners and experienced flow artists to explore fire as a devotional practice — one that clears, empowers, and reconnects us to the primal wisdom within.

At Roots to Rise, they will share an evening fire spinning workshop and show, offering a playful yet profound experience of fire as sacred medicine.
